Objectives

The student is able to
-plan and carry out electrical measurements of different aspects of electrical power engineering systematically and safely
- analyse and report the results

Content

Planning, carrying out and reporting electro-technical measurements. Working safely and following regulations. Laboratory projects relating to some of the following: three-phase systems, three-phase transformers, motors, generators, rectifiers, alternators, frequency converters, relay protection techniques, high voltage equipment, compensation of idle power, commissioning electrical equipment. Check-up measurements of electrical installations.

Prerequisites

First Aid training and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year studies in mathematics, physics and electrical engineering.
