Exam schedules

There isn't. A midterm seminar and a final presentation are mandatory.

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation of the course is influenced by, among other things, participation in agreed meetings, timely submission of assignments, and teamwork skills.
The midterm seminar and final presentation are mandatory. Absences must be agreed separately with the teacher.
The general evaluation criteria of TAMK are followed, with additions below.

Teaching methods

Local/remote supervision, multidisciplinary group work and meetings, exercises, collaborative learning, problem-based learning, project work and independent online learning.

Student workload

27 h / credit. 60% multidisciplinary project work and 40% remote tasks.

Content scheduling

BIM collaboration basics 25%, building IFC models and DWG conversions 25%, change planning/model updates 25%, project meetings and seminars 25%.

Further information

The course lasts the entire academic year. The main focus of the workload is in the fall and at least a final presentation and team meetings in the spring.

Rejected assignment and seminar presentation. Participation rate below 30%.

Assessment criteria - satisfactory (1-2) (Not in use, Look at the Assessment criteria above)

The student is able to use the basics included in the course, such as the shared use of BIM tools and masters the basics of BIM transfer.

In addition to the above, the student can apply the use of modeling tools to various communication with building services designers and can justify solutions. The student can also create simple DWG drawings from a knowledge model. The student takes a position from the perspective of his own field and strives to find a solution that works through collaboration.

In addition to the above, the student has a comprehensive understanding of the topics of the course and their use in solving problems, as well as the ability to logically present and justify the chosen solution methods. The student is also able to make final composite models and drawings from the information model prepared with building services designers. Multidisciplinary cooperation is commendable and the student demonstrates time management, initiative and activity throughout the course.
