Objectives

The student gets to know the basics and concepts of repair construction, key operating methods, common damage phenomena and repair solutions. In the course, the main focus is on the building stock of the 20th century.
The student recognizes possible harmful substances and other risks present in repair construction sites.
The student understands the impact of mixed economy aspects on renovation construction

Content

History of the building stock to be repaired, old building parts, technical obsolescence, stress factors and damage phenomena, repair plans, concrete repairs and an exercise task. Harmful substances present in repair sites and risks related to repair. Circular economy in renovation construction.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student has basic knowledge of renovation. Knowledge of basic knowledge may be small
shortcomings.
