Objectives
The students gain the basic skills needed to communicate by using construction drawings.
The student will be able to use the basic software needed for the studies and to produce documents with them, and will learn to use TAMK's information network services. The student learns to search independently for relevant literature.
Content
In order to produce and interpret construction drawings, the students learn the marking methods, graphics and the practices of the construction industry. The students also learn the basics of AutoCAD software.
Use of TAMK web services, security, computer structure, data networks and communications, book exam, lesson exercises, homework, style usage, SFS document standard layout, image and other content insertion and layout, header and table, tables, page settings, spell checking, hyphenation and language, spreadsheet (MS Excel), basic formulas, operator usage, print settings, layout, graphs, trend line, regression line, macros, buttons and combo box, copying and OLE Word and Excel, presentation graphics (MS PowerPoint), simple presentation, basic and title style , slide structure, image insertion and layout, PDF (Adobe Acrobat and Reader).
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student can produce simple 2D construction drawings with an application commonly used in the field.
The student knows how to use the basic features of the most common office software and prepare simple documents.
Assessment criteria, good (3-4)
The student knows how to produce 2D construction drawings with software commonly used in the field, and uses drawing markings and layouts according to industry standards.
The student knows how to use the features of the most common office software and prepare documents, spreadsheets and presentations according to the instructions.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student knows how to produce 2D construction drawings with software commonly used in the field, and uses drawing markings and layouts according to industry standards. He knows how to prepare level, section drawings and details.
The student knows how to use the features of the most common office software and prepare documents, spreadsheets and presentations according to the instructions. He knows how to use and apply software features in a versatile way.
