Objectives
The course focuses on developing different workplace communication skills in multicultural environments.
After completing the course, the student:
• can give a professional presentation as an expert in their field.
• can discuss technical topics related to their field and facilitate discussion and participate in negotiations.
• can present typical equipment/systems/processes in their field.
• can describe their education, work, work history, skills, and future plans.
• can express their opinion in negotiations.
• can write typical texts required in their work, e.g. reports.
• can read professional texts and evaluate them critically.
• has extensive knowledge of the professional vocabulary of their field.
• can use relevant tools to develop their language skills

• Different professional communication situations in a multicultural working environment, e.g. presenting, negotiating, and facilitating discussion.

Working English for Engineers or equivalent.
