Objectives

In-depth vocational training supports the growth of a student's expertise by introducing them to the key practical tasks of their profession and providing opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in practice.

On completion of the traineeship
• make it easier for the student to find a subject for a thesis and to find employment after graduation
• students will be able to apply what they have learned in theory in practice

Content

• The student will find a placement.
• The student will set learning objectives for the placement, which will be agreed with the placement supervisor at the workplace.
• The student prepares a placement report according to the instructions given and returns the report.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

The traineeship is failed if the student has not returned the assignments and has not submitted the traineeship report in accordance with the instructions within six months of the end of the traineeship. The length of the traineeship is not completed as agreed.
