Objectives

The goal of the course is to offer students the opportunity to get to know Pirkanmaa's industry and to have a discussion with future employers about the technologies in use, work, and the needs and cooperation opportunities of companies and educational institutions. At the same time, we also support opportunities to agree on internships related to studies, as well as internships and summer jobs, and through this, a better meeting of skills needs and future talents is promoted through company-educational institution cooperation.

Content

During the course, the students participate in TAMK's recruitment days (https://www.porttityoelamaan.com/fi) and these discussions with companies are deepened during the company visit day included in the course program. In it, the students get to know the companies and their operations on the spot, and through that the opportunities for cooperation become even better. To support business cooperation, the course also includes a recruitment lecture organized for students, which introduces both TAMK's Jobteaser service, which supports the search for jobs and internships, and the job search support services offered to TAMK students.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

An approved performance can be obtained by making the required reports and participating in the required events, the company visit on the roadshow day (TAMK organizes the transport and the program) and the recruitment webinar.
