• is able to describe and analyze the company's business operations and the data it produces from the perspective of business development
• knows how to collect, process, verify, analyse, utilise and save data
• understands basics of data distributions and statistical analysis
• masters the basics of multivariate test design and data-based development

Content

Basics of relational database.
Basics and purpose of ERP, MES, PDM, PLM
Demonstrations and exercises of collecting and formatting, analysing, data sets.
Basics of statistical analysis and data testing.
Multivariate testing and effective analysing.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

• Student recognizes the operating principles and purpose of the company's relational database-based enterprise resource planning system (ERP, CRM, MES, PDM, PLM)
• Student can describe and analyze the company's business operations from the perspective of business development
• Student can collect, process, verify, analyse, utilise and save data
• Student understands basics of data distributions and statistical analysis
• Student is able to do multivariate test design and knows principles of data-based development

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

• Student knows how to describe and analyze the company's business operations from the perspective of business development.
