Objectives

The students become familiar with the measuring of water and energy consumption in buildings, the facts affecting the consumption and the certificates of a building's energy efficiency.

Content

Measuring of water and energy consumption in buildings, water and energy consumption assessment, building,s theoretical energy consumption, tools for energy saving and the certificates of building's energy efficiency.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student is familiar with the calculation procedure for the E-number of a building and the equalization calculation of energy consumption, as well as the official regulations governing renovation construction. He knows the key factors influencing the energy consumption of a building and is able to apply them with assistance in the planning and implementation of energy savings.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student is familiar with the official regulations concerning the energy consumption of buildings and the calculation of the E-number and is able to apply them in the equalization calculation of the energy consumption of a conventional building, in the preparation of an energy certificate and in the planning of renovation construction. He knows the key factors influencing the energy consumption of a building and is able to apply them profitably in the planning and implementation of energy savings in a building.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is well acquainted with the official regulations concerning the energy consumption of buildings and the calculation of the E-number and is able to apply them independently in the equalization calculation of energy consumption, the preparation of an energy certificate and the planning of renovation construction. He knows the building factors influencing energy consumption and is able to apply them profitably in the planning and implementation of energy savings in a building.
