Winter maintenance of roads and streets with quality standards, winter maintenance classes, key management measures and follow-up.
Maintenance of gravel roads.
Origin and classification of winter break, and methods for repairing winter break.
Causes of damage to paved roads, types of damage, condition studies and repairs.

5R00GQ83 Pavement Technology and 5R00GQ84 Earth Construction or equivalent knowledge

The student knows the main principles and quality criteria related to road maintenance tasks.
The student understands the causes of damage to roads and the most important research and repair methods.
The student understands the factors affecting the winter break phenomenon.

In addition, the student has a comprehensive understanding of the course topics and their use in problem solving as well as the ability to present, analyze and reason logically solutions.
