Objectives

The student knows how to choose an up-to-date quantity measurement guide used in infrastructure construction and can read and apply the guide when making quantity calculations.
The student knows how to create a cost estimate based on a ready list of quantities when using some software in the field.
The student knows how to prepare a resource-based cost estimate and can calculate the cost estimate for different work phases based on capacity and price data.
The student can list what kinds of risks can be associated with projects.
After completing the course, the student has the skills for cost accounting tasks related to the finances of a construction project in a construction and builder organization, and an understanding of costs
formation in the different stages of the project.
