Objectives

The student understands the role of procurement and logistics in the management of a construction project, and knows how to prepare a procurement plan and manages tasks related to individual procurement. The student knows how to create tender requests, compare offers and make well-reasoned purchasing decisions. The student identifies alternative logistic chains for construction products.

Content

The course covers the preparation of the procurement plan and schedule, as well as the steps of an individual procurement task. Contract terms related to procurement, such as RYHT 2000, RYS and REYS, are also discussed. The impact of procurement and logistics on construction site arrangements is also part of the content.

The student can identify and define the basics of procurement and logistics and prepare documents related to individual procurement tasks,

In addition to the previous one, the student can prepare a procurement plan and schedule for the entire project.

In addition to the previous one, the student has a comprehensive understanding of procurement and logistics issues and their use
solving problems and the ability to present, analyze and justify logically treated issues and solution methods.
The student knows how to prepare requests for offers, compare offers and make justified choices.
The student part presents alternative logistic chains.
