Objectives

The course familiarises the students with the characteristic and risks of prefabrication.
They know the design principles of a single element, production, transportation and the mounting plan.
The student knows the requirements for manufacturing and installation set by the correct functioning of structures.

Content

The course introduces the design, manufacturing and logistics of concrete, lightweight concrete, wood and steel element objects. In addition, we will familiarize ourselves with the special features of prefabricated construction and installation planning and implementation from a production point of view.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student can outline the design principles, manufacturing and logistics of various elements.
The student knows the special features and risks related to prefabricated construction, as well as the resulting requirements for work planning on the construction site.
The student can prepare a simple installation plan for the elements of the object.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student can explain the design principles, manufacturing and logistics of various elements.
The student knows the special features and risks related to prefab construction, as well as the resulting requirements for work planning on the construction site.
The student can prepare an installation plan for the elements.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student can explain the design principles, manufacturing and logistics of various elements.
The student knows the special features and risks related to prefab construction, as well as the resulting requirements for work planning on the construction site.
The student can apply what he has learned in the preparation of the installation plan for the elements of a demanding project.
