Objectives

The students can explain the importance of building services as a part of a construction project and their synchronisation with the other tasks in the construction site.

Content

The course contains scheduling and synchronising the building service tasks with other tasks.
Also included are typical control methods and tasks, such as meetings and handover process.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student knows the most important drawing markings of building technology and is able to interpret HVAC images based on them.
He has an understanding of scheduling between different contractors.
The student knows the cleanliness classes and has an understanding of the handover phase procedures at the construction site.
The student recognizes the hole drawing and can read it.
The student knows how to apply what he has learned in exercises at the construction site.

He has an understanding of scheduling between different contractors.
The student has an understanding of which tasks related to building technology are performed at which stage of the construction site.
The student knows the cleanliness classes and has an understanding of what the different classifications mean in practice.
He has an understanding of the procedures and durations of the handover phase at the construction site.
The student recognizes the hole drawing and can read it.
By studying the data model, the student is able to search for possible intersections and problems in building engineering and construction engineering installations.
The student knows how to apply what he has learned in exercises at the construction site.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student knows the drawing markings of building technology and is able to interpret HVAC pictures based on them and find defects/key contents such as fire dampers.
He has an understanding of scheduling between different contractors.
The student has an understanding of which tate tasks are performed at any stage of the site with the construction work and knows how to place them in the general schedule.
The student knows the cleanliness classes and has an understanding of what the different classifications mean in practice
He has an understanding of the procedures and durations of the handover phase at the construction site.
The student recognizes the hole drawing and can read it and evaluate/investigate the correctness of the picture.
By studying the data model, the student is able to search for possible intersections and problems in building engineering and construction engineering installations.
The student can independently apply what he has learned in exercises at the construction site.
