Objectives

In-depth practical training supports the growth of a student's expertise by introducing them to the key practical tasks of their profession and providing opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in practice.

After completing the training:
• it is easier for the student to find a topic for a thesis and to find employment after graduation
• the student can apply what he or she has learned in theory to practice

Content

• The student attends the internship supervision sessions.
• The student finds an internship placement.
• The student sets learning objectives for the internship period, which are agreed with the workplace internship supervisor.
• The student keeps a work diary during the internship period.
• The student prepares an internship report according to the given instructions and returns the report by the end of September.
• The student gives a presentation on his/her internship at an internship seminar.

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

The internship will be rejected if the student has not completed a work diary or has not returned the training report within six months of the end of the traineeship. The length of the internship is not completed as agreed.
