Objectives
The aim of the course is to integrate physical activity into the student's daily life, to provide support for studying and coping with work through physical activity.
Upon completing the Physical activity and well-being, the student course will:
• Recognize the significance of physical activity for personal well-being
• Identify the impact of physical activity on academic performance.
• Recognize the most suitable ways to engage in physical activity for yourself.
• Be familiar with the sports facilities provided by SportUni and in Tampere.

Adult physical activity recommendations - Self-assessment test for personal activity level (UKK)

The course is completed when student recognizes the effects of physical activity on physical, mental, and social well-being and can apply knowledge when planning one's own physical activity.

Implementation independent of time and place. Sign up for the course in Pakki and go to Moodle, find the course NN00GU53-3002 Physical activity and Well-Being (in Finnish Liikunta ja hyvinvointi) and join the course with the key Move2024_2.

Assessment methods and criteria
The course is considered passed when you recognize the effects of physical activity on physical, mental, and social well-being. You have successfully completed the tasks of the course and created your own plan for physical activity. The course is considered failed if you have not completed the tasks associated with it.
The evaluation of the Physical activity and well-being course takes place last Fridays of the month, excluding holidays and bank holidays.
