The goal of the course is for the student to get an exciting start to his studies at TAMK.

After completing the course, the student:
- get information about how to study at the university
- understand where the motivation for higher education comes from
- understand the importance of study ability and own resources for success in studies
- identify study ability and services that support learning and well-being
- know the key factors related to a student's life, such as financial planning
- know what TAMK and Tampere offer students
- knows how to enjoy the opportunities of student life in Tampere
