Objectives

Students can aurally analyse and transcribe tonal and free-tonal an atonal melodies. Students are capable of aural analysis of music from different periods with the help of theoretical knowledge. Students have the ability to apply their knowledge and skills of music analysis in practice.

Melody and Harmony
- dictations of free-tonal and atonal melodies for two voices- dictations of free-tonal and atonal melodies for two voices
- singing free-tonal and atonal unisonous melodies and two-part harmonies
- score reading exercises and reading music for transposing instruments
- dictations of tree-part and four-part modulating tonal and free-tonal harmony
- perception of modulating tonal harmony and free-tonal harmony
- music aural analysis
