Objectives

In the course, a short fictional media production, such as a film or audio drama, is created. The course focuses on practicing and deepening expressive and production skills.

After completing the course, the student
- can contribute to the realization of the vision and goals of the production in their role
- apply creative principles and possibilities of audiovisual storytelling in short fiction production
- apply narrative techniques to realize the chosen genre, including considering the expectations of the target audience
- request and utilize feedback to improve content and expression
- plan and execute the project within the given resources and schedule in their respective role

Content

Execution of a fictional media project.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student contributes, under guidance, to the achievement of the objectives of the work. They can apply principles of audiovisual storytelling in short fiction production. They apply narrative techniques to realise the chosen genre. They plan and execute, under guidance, the project within the given resources and timeframe in their own role.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student, in their own role, advances the realisation of the vision and objectives of the work. They creatively apply principles and possibilities of audiovisual storytelling in short fiction production. They apply narrative techniques to realise the chosen genre, including considering the expectations of the target audience. They can request and utilize feedback to enhance content and expression. They can plan and execute the project within the given resources and timeframe in their own role.

The student advances the realisation of the vision and objectives of the work both in their own role and more comprehensively. They creatively and effectively apply principles and possibilities of audiovisual storytelling in short fiction production. They smoothly apply narrative techniques to realize the chosen genre, including considering the expectations of the target audience. They can request and utilise feedback to enhance content and expression. They can plan and execute the project within the given resources and timeframe, considering both their own role and the overall production.
