Objectives

In the course, a small-scale non-fictional video or audio production, or its demo version, is implemented.

After completing the course, the student:
- can execute a small-scale nonfiction or documentary work or demo from a pre-existing concept
- applies storytelling principles of the form and genre in a project
- can test alternatives for content implementation
- utilise appropriate work methods and tools to enhance the storytelling experience and engage the intended audience.
- incorporates feedback for developing the content and impact of the work

Content

The stages and considerations in the small-scale production of a non-fiction work
Implementing the narrative in the chosen format and style
The importance of experimentation in narrative development
Gathering and utilising feedback in content improvement

Assessment criteria, pass/fail

The course is approved once the project has been implemented, documented, and reported, and when the feedback has been processed. The project working hours are converted into credit points using the formula 27 hours of work = 1 credit.
