Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student
- perceives the significance for the patient and his/ her family of falling ill with an internal illness
- is able carry out nursing care for a medical patient
- knows the main nursing interventions of medical patients at different stages of illness
- knows the key issues related to the medication guidance, implementation, and impact assessment of a medical patient
- perceives the importance of multiprofessional collaboration in the holistic care of a medical patient.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student
- knows the significance for the patient and his/ her family of falling ill with an internal illness
- is able carry out nursing care for a medical patient
- knows the main nursing interventions at different stages of illness
- knows the key issues related to the medication guidance, implementation, and impact assessment of a medical patient
- knows the importance of multiprofessional collaboration in the holistic care of a medical patient.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student
- understands the significance of internal illness for the patient and his family
- is able to plan, implement and assess patient-focused nursing care and understands the causal relationships
- masters the most important nursing interventions at different stages of illness of medical patients
- knows the patient-oriented medication guidance, implementation, and impact assessment for medical patient
- can discribe the importance of multiprofessional collaboration in the holistic care of a medical patient.
