Objectives

The student is familiar with the phases, tasks and organizational possibilities of a renovation and renovation project.
The student learns the methods of assessing the condition of buildings and makes an assessment of the condition of a residential apartment building.
In addition, the student learns the basics of concrete structure facades and balconies, as well as the basics of moisture tests. Based on the above, he will learn how to design a long-term property repair program.

Causes and timing of repairs to the property, costs and preparation for the repairs, contents of the condition assessment and condition studies and necessary research equipment, preparation of the condition assessment and PTS plan (case exercises).
The course covers company decision making, project preparation, project planning, contractor selection, supervision and acceptance as applied to a major repair project.
Profitability and life cycle reviews of repairs.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student knows the basics of building condition and repair management. There may be minor deficiencies in basic knowledge. Here:
- The student knows the basics of building condition assessment and research methods and the most important operating methods
- The student knows the most common stressors, damage phenomena and repair solutions
- The student participates with the working group in the preparation of the fitness assessment
- The student knows the main content of the fitness assessment report and the basics of PTS planning.

The student knows the basic knowledge related to building condition assessment and research methods. The student is able to make conventional analyzes and conclusions based on basic information. Here:

The student has a versatile knowledge of information and concepts related to building condition assessment and research methods. The student is able to make versatile analyzes and conclusions based on the issues he / she has adopted. Here:

- The student is familiar with a variety of stressors, damage phenomena and repair solutions
- In the working group, the student actively participates in the preparation of the fitness assessment, acts as a contact person in the direction of the customer and participates e.g. acquisition of input data.
- The student is able to independently make a fitness assessment report and a PTS plan.
