Objectives
The aim of the course is to develop basic technical lighting skills in photography. The course prepares the student for using different light sources in a creative way. After completing the course the student is able to apply and create a suitable lighting for a subject and have skills for working with and directing a sitter.

Different photography light sources, working with a sitter.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
The student recognizes some elements of lighting in photographs. The student implements all assignments in the course or presents substitutive outputs.

The student outlines well different lighting equipment and can use these in suitable ways in photographs. The student implements all assignments in the course or presents substitutive outputs.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
The student is able to analyse different lighting in photographs and recommend suitable lighting methods for the situation. The student is highly motivated and implements all assignments in the course or presents substitutive outputs.
