Objectives

The course prepares students for an experimental approach with technologies and sustainable practices in contemporary art. The course supports critical thinking and encourages the invention of new solutions in contemporary art. The aim is to activate the student team to improve sustainable acts in their practices. Students acquire how to manage an experimental project and know how to apply artificial intelligence, production planning, and various presentation platforms, including virtuality.

Content

Basics of experimental art project with new technologies and practices in contemporary art. Teamwork. Ecological, economic and social responsibility.
Ethics in decision-making and management.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student is able to define phenomena and concepts related to experimental art projects on a basic level. The student performs the assigned task under supervision.
The student knows how to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner. The student is able to work in a team. The student follows practices that are important in their field. The student takes responsibility for their own performance.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student understands the principles of the relationships between phenomena and concepts related to experimental approaches with technologies and sustainable practices in contemporary art. The student is able to choose the most suitable procedure. The student works according to the schedule. The student evaluates issues from their team’s perspective. The student follows the practices that are important for publicity, marketing and distribution.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student is able to understand entities and the interrelations between them. The student is able to analyse and connect practices. The student is able to look for new operating methods and try out new operating models. The student uses solutions creatively and creates new ones. The student reports their and their team’s work in a profound manner. The student is highly motivated and able to cooperate responsibly, flexibly and constructively.
