Students
•can critically evaluate and develop mental health care of children, adolescents and elderly, promote their mental health and participate in remedial care
•are able to use evidence based information when planning mental health and substance abuse care in these age groups
•are able to assess clients and their families mental health problems and psychosocial needs and are able to help clients with nursing interventions and refer to appropriate care if needed

•special characteristics of children, adolescents and elderly mental health and substance abuse care
•early interaction and attachment as a basis of mental health
•different crisis in childhood and adolescence
•most common mental health and substance abuse problems in childhood and adolescence, their promotion and care
•crisis in old age, mental health and substance abuse problems in elderly, promotion and care of these problems
•most common cognitive and memory problems in elderly and differential diagnostics
