Students
can realize health promotion at individual, communal and social levels
understand the ethics of health promotion and can apply it in care for geriatric and chronic patients
can apply approaches and working methods of health promotion in care for geriatric and chronic patients
broaden and deepen their knowledge of medical research and treatment of chronic diseases
can establish their decision making on medical principles
recognise the importance of mental health as a part of the wellbeing of geriatric and chronic patients
can search for and apply information on mental health, mental health and substance abuse problems in their own work in social and health care
know the basic concepts of wellbeing technology for elderly people and the purposes of technologies in promotion of health, functional ability and quality of life
