Objective of course
The student
- learns the concepts, principles and strategies of information search and he/she understands the process of information search.
- learns to know different search methods, databases and search services.
- learns to use diverse databases and search services in practice by completing independent search assignments
- is able to apply the information search skills learned during the course independently in practice.
- learns to find the sources of information which are relevant for his/her information need by using databases and search services and he/she learns to evaluate the sources of information critically.
- learns to analyse his/her information need and information search process and justify his/her search results critically
- gains a general impression of the matters discussed during the course on the basis of the students´ own information search examples.
