Objectives

The students learn structure and measuring systems and the different parts of a building’s surface and supporting structures so that they can draw the basic structure types and the simple joints of structures. The course forms the basis for further study.

Content

Functional elements of the structure and housing of residential buildings as well as business and industrial buildings, gently sloping roofs. The basics of heat and moisture technology. The structure materials covered in the course are concrete, steel and wood. As the assignment, the students draw up the blue prints for a single family house.
