Objectives

The student is able to
- describe the different phases of designing building services as well as the principles of documenting the process
- work in a professional project
- create the necessary HVAC design documents for a particular site
- cooperate with the other designers

Content

Managing and scheduling a design project.
Documentation of planning and realisation of HVAC systems for a non-residential building. Working as a member of a project team, acquiring and passing on information at the right time. Integration of plans. Building services engineering task list.
Planning project flow diagram, documenting needs and initial information, list of documents, contents of drafts and realisation plans, permission procedures, cost-conscious selection of systems and devices.

HVAC applications in Non-residential Buildings (13I252-1014) study unit

Projektityö toteutetaan yhdessä sähkösuunnittelua ja rakennussuunnittelua opiskelevien opiskelijoiden kanssa, jolloin talotekniikka- ja rakennussuunnittelun yhteensovittamisen ongelmakohdat tulevat opiskelussa esille.
