After completing the course, the student
- knows how to gather information on Social Services and is capable of critical valuation of given information and to create a general view
- knows the most common genres and is able to use the knowledge in different kinds of situations in creating texts
- is able to create correct and relevant text and style
- can refer to sources and create a list of references

Content

- Information sources, library visit, e-learning material of Social Services and article databases
-Review of grammatical correctness
-Process of writing
-Standard of documents
-Neutral and formal style
-Features of texts related to studies: summary of book, essay, report, thesis
-Documents needed in search for work: job application, CV
-Professional texts of Bachelor of Social Services: memo, notification, report, article, e-mail messages
-Use of sources: giving a summary, references, list of references
