Students
- are able to define the values and ethical principles of social work with adults and its significance on an individual, communal and societal level
- are able to explain the essential contents of legislation on social work with adults
- are able to describe the different stages of client process in social work with adults, the forms of organizing adult social services, and the role of Bachelor of Social Services in them

- Global declarations and ethical principles, social participation, client-oriented approach, the past, present and future of social work with adults
- Key legislation on social work with adults, services and benefits, and client-specific plans
- Goal-oriented approaches to social work with adults in the public, private and third sector
