Sisältää tiedonhaun taitojen alkuopetuksen

Opintojakson tavoitteet

-osaa toimia ammattikorkeakoulun oppimis- ja toimintaympäristössä
-on selvillä koulutusohjelmastaan, tulevasta ammatistaan ja amk-opinnoista osana eurooppalaista korkeakoulujärjestelmää
-tietää sosiaalialan koulutusohjelman perusosaamisalueet
-tutustuu opiskeluryhmäänsä ja edistää omalta osaltaan myönteistä opiskeluilmapiiriä
-tunnistaa omat voimavaransa opiskelukyvyn eräänä osana
-tunnistaa opiskelutaitonsa vahvat ja kehittämisalueet
-osallistuu opiskeluympäristön yhteiseen kehittämiseen.
- osaa käyttää AMKin kirjastopalveluita ja tuttustuu yleisiin ja alakohtaisiin e-aineistoihin.
-osaa käyttää erilaisia ohjaus- ja tukipalveluita
-osaa käyttää TAMKin sähköisiä palautejärjestelmiä sekä osallistuu rakentavaan oppimisen kehittämiseen omassa yksikössään.

Students
-are able to work in the university of applied sciences learning and operational environment
-are aware of the structure of the degree programme, their future profession and the university of applied sciences studies as part of the European higher education system
-know the core competence fields of Degree Programme in Social Services
-become familiar with the student group and understand how to promote positive learning environment
-recognise their own study resources
-recognise their strengths and development needs as regards studying
-participate in the development of the study environment
-are capable of utilising diverse guidance and support services
-can use electronic feedback systems and participate in constructive development of education

Teaching methods
Personal study plan discussions each year, written assignment on professional growth in all practical trainings. Participation in orientation studies and tutor groups. Information session on international affairs
