-master systematic search for information and are able to assess it critically and utilize library services
-master the structure of scientific research, principles of ethics, the meaning of reliability in research and the principles of research methods
-know the main concepts of statistics
-master the production and description of statistics and can calculate the most common key figures
-are able to read and interpret research reports which include statistics
