Objectives
The students
- can plan, implement and evaluate rehabilitation process together with the person being rehabilitated, their relatives and multiprofessional work group
- know the legislation behind rehabilitation
- know the graded services of social, health and rehabilitation systems
- are familiarised with sickness rate and health of the Finnish population
- are aware of the role of economic resources of the state in producing services
- can take into account the municipal decision making system and how to influence it
- can instruct the client and person being rehabilitated in exercises taking into account individual strenghts and special needs
- can communicate clearly, convincingly and understandably, both in writing and orally
