Swedish for Forestry (4cr)

Objectives

The student:
- knows how to tell about his education, working experience and tasks in the Swedish language for example in a job application situation
- knows how to present the activities, products, processes and services of companies and organizations in Swedish language
- is able to discuss the above mentioned topics both orally and in writing
- can manage working life situations such as reading and writing e-mail messages, replying to reclamations, speaking on the phone and reporting in Swedish
- knows how to look for and analyze information and is able to follow the development of forestry from sources written in Swedish
- understands and is able to prepare instructions

Oral and written working life communication situations, business life Swedish, forestry terminology, key grammar

Prerequisites

Upper secondary school Swedish, Course: ”Grundkurs i svenska för teknibranschen”, B1-level language skills.

Further information

Sufficient skills in Finnish, mandatory participation on 80% of the classes; alternative form of completion: skills test.
