Objectives

The students know the chemical pulp production, unit processes of a fibre line and the recovery of chemicals. The students know the bleaching of the pulp and the production of by-products.
The students know the production of special pulps (for example dissolved pulping). The students know the material, chemical and energy balance of pulp mill. Know the quality parameters of chemical pulps and process parameters of chemical pulping.
