Objectives

The students learn about various usages of cliff structures. The students learn the usage possibilities of cliff structures and the Finnish bedrock as a building object. The students learn the characteristics of Finnish bedrock, the characteristic research methods and the most common cliff structures. The students learn examples of structural solutions for cliffs, reinforcing bedrock and drying solutions. The students also learn how the bedrock is used as air raid shelters.
