Objectives

The students are able to evaluate how the knowledge gained during the studies is related to the know-how needed in working life. The students learn to set goals which support their professional development for the practical training and increase their knowledge of the working life. The students know how to present their knowledge and how to apply for a job both by using a written application as well as a web portfolio.

Content

Course contains a virtual course which prepares the students for job application and for their practical training. How to find information and what knowledge is needed in order to get a training job? From what kinds of enterprises should students look for training jobs? How to write a job application? How to contact the employer? Customer based job application: how to present your know-how to different employers?
