Objectives

The students are able to analyse the contents of their media productions from an ethical viewpoint and recognise their responsibility as the creator of content. The students know the goals and evaluation criteria for TAMK final thesis and are able to set goals regarding professional development and employment for their final thesis. The students are able to carry out independent and critical information acquisition about their final thesis topic.

Content

During the third year of studies, the portfolio work divides into professional ethics and preparation for final thesis. The professional ethics contain jurisprudence and professional ethics of the field of media. For the final thesis, it is important to develop the preliminary topic, to define the goals as well as to learn how to acquire information, supported by the library. Portfolio work is guided by the teacher tutor.
