Objectives
The students know how to plan and implement a customer project. They know the basis of financing, sponsorship and acquiring customers. The students are able to negotiate, receive feedback and to agree on matters with the customer. They are able to apply project life cycles. The students know how to resource, budget and document a project as well as to plan the scheduling and monitoring for a project. They can manage a working group according to the aims of the customer project. The students are able to evaluate the skills of the working group members and to recruit people for projects. The students know how to promote a creative, motivating, goal-oriented and healthy work environment.
Content
During the course the students design and implement a customer project. The students draw up a financing plan for the project. They learn about the basis of managing a working group and well-being at work. Evaluation: 1) Learning diary (recognising one’s own skills and management style), 2) Preliminary survey of the customer project, complete with a risks analysis, project plan and scheduling monitoring, report and customer feedback, 3) Information acquisition task and a written assignment about project management. The course ET-P11 Customer Project management is carried out together with the course ET-P20 Management and Realization of Television Production.
