Objectives

The students can identify different genres, story types and styles of factual television programmes as well as their dramaturgical options. They know how to ideate, visualise and implement television interviews and narrations. They are able to compose short coverages following professional schedules. The students know the basics of the legislation and ethical guidelines governing journalism and are able to find out more about them. The students are able to develop their skills in journalistic information acquisition and interviewing.

Content

The students implement journalistic exercises and inserts for television broadcasts. The course contains lectures, examples and teaching of quick factual production sound, editing and filming.
