Presentation Practices in Contemporary Art 2.Laajuus (10 cr)

Objectives

The students are able to evaluate their own work in the context of contemporary art. They have a wide knowledge of presentation contexts of contemporary art. The students can convincingly present their work in writing and orally. They know the structure of the production process of an exhibition and can work as a member of a production group.

Content

The students write a Bachelor’s thesis plan and familiarise themselves with the structure and tasks of an artistic production. The course consists of writing and presentation practices, exhibition visits, lectures, discussion and independent work. The course prepares the students for the thesis process.
