Advanced PaintingLaajuus (10 cr)

Objectives

Students are able to develop and analyse their painting practice and deepen their understanding of contemporary painting as the context of their studio work.

Content

The course structure enables students to complete a course in acrylic and oil painting and also allows students with a pass in painting 1 (maalaus 1) to develop their practice further. The course includes studies in painting materials and independent studio work and studio visits and feedback. The students develop their professional practises and analyse artistic production processes.
