Osaamistavoitteet
This basic management accounting course provides the students with knowledge of fundamental management accounting terminology, theories, methods and practices. Completing the course will enable the students to work on product and service costing and pricing, and on profitability analyses in tourism enterprises. The course also introduces tools in the field of budgeting and forecasting as well as controlling business performances.
After completing the course, the students will be able to:
Communicate and co-operate in management accounting.
Perform product costing and pricing using the most popular methods and practices.
Analyze the profitability of the products, services and investments in tourism enterprises.
Prepare the budget reports and forecasts of the company on a basic level.
