The student masters the basic calculation methods of business mathematics and their most important applications and develops his/her mathematic skills.

Students learn the possibilities of internet, marketing and e-business in the area of tourism.

Students develop a positive attitude towards entrepreneurship. They learn the fundamentals of establishing an enterprise. Students know the work related service relationships, labour laws, and labour contracts. They are aware of labour market organizations. Students know recruitement services in Finland and abroad.

Students get familiar with the basics of both financial accounting and management accounting. They understand the role of bookkeeping and can manage the yearly bookkeeping process and closing of the accounts. Students will also get a concept of the information needed in the management accounting as well as how it can be utilized in the management process.
