The student
- masters the basics of supporting and monitoring the vital functions of critically ill patients;
- masters the basics of medical-surgical nursing of acutely ill patients;
- masters evidence-based knowledge in nursing of acutely ill medical-surgical patients;
- understands the acute crisis caused by illness and masters the basics of supporting patients and their families.

First year and middle phase studies completed, at least 135 credits, including the basic level studies in the field of advanced professional studies.

Theory exam week 14 in Exam ( video controlled exam space)
Medical calculation test with theory exam. In medical calculation test you need to get 100% correct and show how you got the result
I retake week 18 in Exam
II retake week 21 in Exam
In retakes you can do theory exam and medical calculations separately

Mandatory participation in the course's orientation meeting (first lecture). More information about the compulsory participation and assignments given during the orientation meeting.
Mandatory 100 % participation to group work and seminar
Final exam, will be graded 0-5.
Medical calculation test with theory exam,100 % correct answer needed
If any answer in the exam might result to patient's death or severely harming the patient, the exam will be failed
