Objectives (course unit)
Student is able to:
*use new production and content creation techniques in emerging media productions
*plan and execute a project
*utilize sustainable and user-centered production methods
Content (course unit)
Production, content creation, sustainable production methods, marketing, contracts and IPR.
Location and time
Lessons on Friday mornings. Kick off 4.9.2020 at 9 am. Course is organised at least partly in online context.
Exam schedules
No tests, but assignments and presentations.

Active attendance to the contact lessons, quality of the presentation and -assignments

This course is part of Emerging Media minor and offered only for those students who participate Emerging Media minor projects.In this course the students apply user experience design and design thinking principles to their own Emerging media project.
As part of the course the students accomplish also a research assignment in the emerging media field.

Participation is low. Student has achieved the objectives of the course sufficiently. Student understands the premises and principals of the subject matter. Student recognizes, is able to determine and use the concepts and models

Active participation. Student has achieved the objectives of the course well although the skills and competences are somewhat in need of further development. Student is able to determine and apply the concepts and models of the subject matter well and is able to apply them in tasks.

Active participation. Student has achieved the objectives of the course excellently. The student masters the concepts and models of the subject matter in an excellent manner. Student is able to conduct fluent and reasoned analysis and has good capabilities to apply the learning.
