Objectives (course unit)
The student
- is able to monitor vital signs;
- is able to respond to the patient's need of care by using nursing methods and promoting patient safety;
- is able to quide the patient's self-care holistically.
Content (course unit)
- evaluation and monitoring of the patient's basic vital signs;
- patient education in self-care;
- resuscitation

30 ects of initial stage studies must be completed before entering the middle stage studies.
