Composing B3 (10cr)

Objectives

Students have a command of various composing techniques and are able to utilize it in both small and large-scale compositions. They have a comprehensive knowledge of music and utilize and enlarge it according to the demands of the composition at hand. They are able to reflect on their ideas and on the implementations of them. They are capable of time management and of planning their schedules in a realistic way.

Content

- composition exercises and compositions for various ensembles
- choral scores and aural perception exercises

Students increase their learning skills and innovation skills (creative problem solving and ideas suitable for execution, information acquisition and retrieval of it, increasing own skills, planning and reflection of own work).
