Objectives
The student
- understands and is able to utilise scientific articles in his/her own field of study;
- is able to write a thesis as a whole and to argue the results of his/her own work in relation to previous knowledge
- can write a thesis abstract in academic style
- is able to present the results of his or her thesis orally and with the help of a poster
- can critically plan, monitor and evaluate his/her learning
- is able to give an expert presentation of his/her thesis
- is able to write a maturity test based on his/her thesis
- is able to peer review a final thesis prepared by another student, according to the stated criteria

Assessment criteria, pass/fail
Pass
The student
- is able to write an acceptable maturity test and poster about his/her thesis
- has presented his/her thesis in the seminars and working life
Fail
The student
- has not been able to finish his/her thesis
- has not written a maturity test or the maturity test does not meet the requisite criteria
- has not produced a poster or the poster does not satisfy the set criteria
